Until recently, she was the Physician Program Lead for the Member Support Program at the Canadian Medical Protective Association where she supported physicians with a variety of challenges related to medico-legal events, including dealing with stress, communication, teamwork, boundaries and burnout. |

| Director, Community of LearningDr. Angie Hong MD CCFP FCFP PCC (candidate) is a personal and professional development coach for physicians and healthcare leaders. She completed masters-level coach training at the University of Toronto Brief Coaching Institute and advanced training at the Erickson Coaching Institute. Angie is a passionate advocate for coach training and has taught physicians across Canada and the United States how to integrate coaching strategies into their work and lives. She coaches physicians and nursing leaders nationwide, with a focus on self-leadership and whole-person work as the foundation of effective leadership. Angie was selected as one of the coaches for the inaugural coaching program at the Ontario Medical Association. In addition, she is a LEADS-certified coach, working with the Canadian College of Health Leaders, supporting leaders through 360-degree evaluations. |
TreasurerDr. Virginia Hurdon MD, CCFP-PC, ACC, NBC-HWC is a retired palliative care physician and National Board Certified health and wellness coach. She uses decades of professional experience in major life transitions and quality-of-life concerns to help clients live to their potential and find joy and meaning. Her areas of special interest are transitions and wellbeing, especially in the context of physician life and career stages. With intensive training in burnout coaching, she supports clients to recover from and prevent relapsing into burnout and overwhelm.
